Matt is an honors graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Campbell University. There he became a ‘Class A’ PGA Golf Professional, and earned a Master’s degree in Business. While at Campbell, Matt studied under David Orr, Golf Digest’s Top 30 teacher in America and the #1 instructor in North Carolina. Matt has worked at TPC Piper Glen in Charlotte and Interlachen Country Club, home to the U.S. Women’s Open. In 2016, after Matt surrendered his career in golf to the Lord, he and his family took a leap of faith to make disciples and plant churches among refugee communities in Minnesota. For the past 3 years, while leading a team, they served oversees in one of the most unreached Muslim nations in Africa. They have now returned to the U.S. in the next phase of their mission work. Matt and his family moved to Abbeville in October and God has reignited his passion for helping others grow and develop in golf and in life.
